A loan of $1,075 helped buy furniture, products, and supplies for food preparation.

Marcelina's story

Marcelina is a 49 year old woman with two daughters under her care. They live together in the majestic Cuzqueñ jungle, which is located in the Quimbiri area. They have their own house there.

As an adolescent Marcelina discovered that in the near future she wanted to run things. And, she would do it differently than her parents. At that time they were farmers, and she helped them plant and harvest their cacao crop.

Now she sells food, and she is pleased with what she has achieved. She is the boss of her business, and she makes suitable decisions. That is why her sales are gradually improving. Also, her customers are very happy with the good seasoning of her typical dishes.

Her daughters generally help her. At any rate, she needs help to be able to wait on her customers. Her key to success is making preparations starting at four in the morning. She sells on the corner of her own location.

Marcelina aspires to have a soda fountain in the future. That way she could increase her customers and her sales.

This is her first loan with MFP. She promises to keep making each of her payments. She is pleased with the support that is being offered to her.

She will use the requested loan to buy furniture for her business. She will use the rest of it for basic supplies like meat, oil, condiments, and vegetables to satisfy her diners’ palates.
