A loan of $1,150 helps to pay tuition toward a bachelor's degree.

Gizo's story

Gizo is an ambitious young man from village Kldeeti, Zestaponi district. He is a second year student at the State University, where he is majoring in law. It is hard to continue studying at the university since he has no source of income or help from his family. Gizo sought out a loan to finance his second year tuition fees.

Credo has approved a student loan to him through a joint project with Kiva that gives Georgian students a good chance to invest money in their education.

Gizo will have the chance to finance his second year and continue to advance his education through his studies. He will be very thankful for the financial support.

This loan is special because:

It allows low-income students to pursue education and find jobs before repaying.
