Asunta's story

Asunta is a very enterprising woman who started her business with loans from Edaprospo. With much effort she was able to open a juice bar. She also saw seomthing her neighbors' needed and opened a variety store where she sells diverse products and gifts. With the loan she will invest in buying some shelves to open a hardware store. This member is grateful for the loan and is committed to paying it off according to schedule.

Edaprospo seeks to use micro-credit to foster productive commercial activity for the sake of economic and social development within vulnerable urban and rural sectors traditionally neglected by commercial banks. By offering innovative products such as technical education loans and microfinance groups for young persons, EDAPROSPO helps disadvantaged Peruvians lift themselves out of poverty.
