Asociacion De Todas Las Sangres Group's story

This is the first loan for the communal bank "Asociación de Todas las Sangres.” The members have a variety of economic activities with which they support their families. With a lot of effort, Lucy opened a store a year ago. With the earnings from her business she is able to support her 3 children and move forward with her plans.

Our member Ruth started her business with the help of a friend. She sells frozen fruit juice and gelatin snacks. Although at first she did not have very good earnings, she then decided to expand her business so that now she sells a variety of drinks, and with the earnings from her sales she is able to cover the household expenses.

Yeny is a member who travels constantly. She takes fruit from the Peruvian rainforest to sell from her home. In this way she can help with the household expenses.

The members are grateful for this loan and promise to make their payments according to their group agreement.

EDAPROSPO seeks to use micro-credit to foster productive commercial activity for the sake of economic and social development within vulnerable urban and rural sectors traditionally neglected by commercial banks.
