Gustavo Adolfo's story

Gustavo Adolfo is a 37 year-old small business owner residing in the Soledad municipality. He runs a corner store with a internet café. He has 5 years of working in and experience in this business.

Gustavo Adolfo is an enterprising person and a responsible employee who always dreamed of owning his own business. He's passionate about being the one who can provide his clients with their needs, and sells quality products. He provides these supplies to his customers because, in the beginning, there was no stationery store or a place to make photocopies in his neighborhood. That's why he's done so well in the area. His clients are neighbors, friends, family, referrals and the general public.

Due to the global Covid-19 pandemic, his level of business went down and his sales dropped drastically. Deliveries became a strong selling point. Now, he's requesting his first Kiva loan from the Mario Santo Domingo Foundation which he will invest in buying notebooks, crafts, massage and beauty products, nail polish, decorative items, items for piñatas, and more to stock up his store.
