A loan helped to buy two dairy cows to increase her livestock headcount and organic milk sales.

Aitbu's story

Aitbu has successfully repaid her previous loan, and is grateful to Kiva and to all who helped her with that financing. Her farm presently consists of seven cows, 20 sheep, a horse and a 1.92-hectare plot of irrigated land on which she grows beans for sale.

In order to develop her business further, Aitbu has again turned to Bai Tushum Bank, this time for a loan of 150,000 som (KGS) to buy two more dairy cows. This will increase her livestock headcount and milk sales. Aitbu is planning to put the income generated by the loan into developing her business further, while using a portion of it to build a family home.
