A loan helped to buy stock of drinks to sell.

Yakubu's story

Twenty-seven-year-old Yakubu is a resident of Suhum, a growing town in the Eastern Region of Ghana. He is married with three children.

For two years now, his source of income has been from the operation of a provision shop with drinks and water as the majority stock. His neighbors are able to get household consumables from his shop with ease at almost any time of the day, as he opens his shop very early in the morning and closes late into the night. He is such a hardworking young man. He is seeking financial assistance to buy stock into the shop so as to meet the growing demands of his customers.

He looks forward to sponsoring his children’s education with profits from the business.

He is grateful in advance to generous Kiva supporters for coming to his aid.
