A loan helped to buy stocks of provisions for sale.

Bridget's story

Thirty-five-year-old Bridget is a resident of Suhum, one of the popular towns in the Eastern Region of Ghana. She is married with three children.

For nine years now, her source of income is from the operation of a provision shop in the community. Her neighbours are able to get household consumables from her shop with ease and almost at any time of the day, as she opens her shop very early in the morning, and closes late into the night. She is such a hardworking woman. She is seeking financial assistance to buy stock into the shop so as to meet the growing demands of her customers.

She is saving her profits in preparation for re-opening of schools so she can meet the educational expenses of her children.

She is grateful in advance to generous Kiva supporters for coming into her aid.
