A loan helped a member to buy more rice to meet customer demand.


Tuzamurane Acb Group's story

Alice is 32 years old and married with four children aged between 4 and 16 years. Her husband is a civil servant. For the past seven years, she has sold foodstuff.

Alice is the leader of the group named Tuzamurane Acb, which in English means “ develop each-other.” Group members sell different items and own a variety of stores.

Alice will use her loan to buy more rice to meet customer demand. With the profits from her sales, she will put away some savings.



Due to the global pandemic Urwego was not able to photograph all the members but Urwego was able to get one representative for the group photo.
