04_Anta Group's story

This group was created in February 2014 gathering women who are very united whose main businesses are in trade and animal raising.

Anta, standing on the left in the photo with her hand raised, is the group representative. She is 62 years old, married and is the mother of three children, two of whom are girls.

She earns a living selling cereals, a business she started a number of years ago and has a lot of experience. With her new loan she plans to buy barrels of millet and peanuts at a good price that she will then resell retail in the weekly market in her village.

With the earnings she will obtain she plans to support her children in their studies and also buy food for the family.
