A loan of $375 helped inventory.

Gladys's story

Gladys is 40 years old and lives with her husband and six children in her own home. She’s been running a small grocery store out of her home for the past five years and works every day with the help of her husband and children. She also has a small bakery and her husband is in charge of baking the different types of bread and delivering it every morning to all the small stores in her neighborhood.

These businesses have allowed them to generate income and establish a solid economic base. In the future she would like to open a larger store that also sells primary need items in order to better serve her customers.

This will be Gladys’ eighth loan through MFP and she promises to be responsible with her payments. She is grateful to those who made this loan possible. It will be very useful for her business. She will use the money to buy larger quantities of products in order to stock her store.
