A loan of $725 helped buy materials to increase production in his carpentry shop.

Marcelino's story

Marcelino, age 57, lives with his wife and their children in Centro Poblado Menor Lives in the Unión Agua Blanca district. The district is located in the mountainous region of the San Miguel province in the Cajamarca region. It is four and a half hours from the city of Chiclayo, which is the capital of the Lambayeque region.

He has worked providing carpentry services since he was a young man. He makes all types of furniture for his customers and neighbors in the area. This business has allowed him to get ahead during all of this time. Thanks to the business he has been able to care for his family. He is well known and recommended in the area thanks to the fact that he always does quality work and is completely responsible.

Marcelino likes the work he does a lot, and he has transmitted this enjoyment to his children. They now work with him. They dream of having a shop on a large scale and of distributing the furniture they make in the entire northern region of the country.

Marcelino wants to expand his business by purchasing more materials so that he can increase his production. That is why he has requested, for the first time, a loan for 2,000 PEN from Edpyme Alternative. This will help him achieve his objective.

Marcelino is a responsible father. He has given the best of himself during his whole life in order to get his family ahead. He plans to make improvements on his house, which is made of rudimentary material.
