A loan helped to buy soft drinks, juices, water, and snacks foods.

Elsa Mercedes's story

Elsa Mercedes is married, and from this relationship, they have three children. Her husband is a business owner. They live in the canton of Jipijapa, known as the "Sultana del Café" for its coffee-growing tradition, a place that has also been greatly impacted by the effects of Covid-19.

She is a very determined woman who does what she needs to do to make a living, and despite the current difficulties during the pandemic, she continues moving forward. She has a shop in her house where she sells soft drinks, water, ice, and other drinks, and also sweets, Tostitos, and other snack foods. This pandemic has been very hard for her. She used to sell clothing and Belcorp products, but with the pandemic, she left that business and now is only pursuing her business selling drinks, and despite the fact that her earnings aren't high, they at least allow her to pay for the most necessary expenses.

This loan will be used to buy soft drinks, juices, water, and snack foods.
