Kerryan's story

Kerryan is a 23-year-old woman who is married with two children and they live in a community outside Honiara, capital of Solomon Island.

She runs a small poultry business farming chickens to sell its meats and eggs in her community and at the market to earn a living. She has been in this business for three years. To earn additional income, Kerryan also runs a small marketing business selling ice-blocks at the market.

Kerryan has requested a loan to pay for additional day-old chicks, drinkers, feeders and sawdust to assist her with her business.

She plans to use her profits to meet her family's weekly expenses and improve her businesses.

She joined SPBD in 2018.
