A loan helped a member to stock up on 40 pieces of traditional cloth which will boost her initial capital.

Bahogwere Group's story

Fifi is a customer of Hekima IMF and president of the village group "Bahogwere". She is 46, married and mother of four children including two at school. Her partner is a doctor.
She sells traditional cloth and has been doing this for 10 years with the start-up capital she received from her husband. Later on she joined the Hekima programme to support her business, during which time she has evolved progressively. With this new loan, she will stock up with 40 pieces of traditional cloth which will boost her initial capital. The danger to her business is linked to the increase in the exchange rate with dollars.
She would like to develop her business and to buy a piece of land. Finally, she would like to thank Hekima and its partners for their support given to non-bankable business owners in the context of this global crisis caused by Covid-19. The photo is only of the leader due to Covid-19.
