Dorothy's story

Dorothy is a 40-year-old woman who is married with four children and they live in a community outside Honiara, the capital of Solomon Island.

She has a garden where she grows cabbages, root crops and vegetables that she can sell at the market to earn a living. She has been in this business for five years.

Dorothy has requested a loan to pay for additional bush knives, fertilizers and pesticides to assist her with her farming activities.

She plans to use her profits to meet her family's weekly expenses and improve her business.
