Vololoniaina's story

Vololoniaina is 30 years old and married. She has two children. She works in farming and raising livestock. She participates directly in working the fields. Her husband is a mason.

Vololoniaina's family wants to have a house. To achieve this, Vololoniaina had the initiative to expand her work and save. She takes out loans to increase her capital. The following loan will be used to raise pigs. It will help her expand her herd. She will also grow potatoes.

[With her loan], she is going to buy two pigs, 420 kilograms of feed, as well as 100 kilograms of potatoe seeds, 100 kilograms of chemical fertilizer, and manure. She has a fixed group of customers who buys her animals and crops.

She is depending on lenders.
