This Kiva borrower is a 24-year-old married man from Lebanon. He lives with his wife and child and is the sole income provider for his family. He has been selling different types of Arabic sweets for the past six years. He buys the sweets from Tripoli, which is famous for its delicious desserts such as “baklawa”. He sells the sweets from his car.

He is requesting a loan of $1,200 from Kiva partner Ameen s.a.l. He plans to use the loan to purchase more sweets to sell. This will be his first loan from Ameen.
