A loan helped a member to buy shirts, trousers, blouses, T-shirts, shorts, and other garments to sell.

Nueva Esperanza Group's story

The group named “Nueva Esperanza” was formed by several neighbors in the area who are seeking to improve their quality of life. This is a new committee whose members have tremendous desire to succeed and get ahead. They are also participating in the poverty elimination program.

Sra. Elsy is one of the members. She sells clothes that she acquired at a discount at her house. Elsy says that she joined this group because she saw an opportunity to grow and help her family. She is a person who works hard on behalf of her loved ones so that they lack nothing and can avoid hardship.

Elsy is requesting a loan to buy a variety of clothes to sell such as shirts, trousers, blouses, T-shirts, shorts, and other garments so that she can continue her work.

Note: The photo shows only one person, even though this is a group loan. It was not possible to take a group photo in order to avoid congregating during the COVID-19 pandemic.

In this group: Elsy, Jaqueline, Liz, Yennifer, Celedonia, Ana, Lucia, Alda, Shirley, Barsilicia, Emilia, Sara
