A loan of $725 helped purchase of merchandise to stock grocery store.

Teresa's story

Teresa, 57-years-old, lives with her husband Carlos and her son Erick, who is already grown. They all live in their own home. For 11 years, she has had a grocery store, and she has always tried to make sure that her store is well stocked with the merchandise necessary to meet her customers’ needs. Her store is very busy with a large number of customers. Teresa works hard to give them good customer service, which keeps them coming back again and again. She enjoys her work very much because it gives her enough time to take care of her household chores, and as long as she keeps the door open to her store, she can be at home working, while her clients choose what they’d like to buy. In the future, Teresa wants to continue improving her business, and that is why she needs more capital. This is the seventh loan she has had with MFP, and she has always been very punctual with her payments. Teresa is thinking about investing the money in buying candy, soft drinks, and cookies, among other foods, to satisfy her clientele’s needs.
