Jardin De Las Lomas Group's story

This group is called “Jardin de Las Lomas” (Garden of the Little Hills), which is also the name of the community where they live. The group consists of four people and their business activities are noted below:

- Sofia L. sells soft drinks.
- Rafaela R. sells handicrafts.
- Maria Guadalupe sells shoes through a catalog.
- Maria Isabel L. sells clothing.

Sra. Sofia L. S. is married and has five children. Their names are David, Maria del Rosario, Joaquin, Josue, and Evelin. She sells soft drinks out of her home as well as a few groceries since there are no stores nearby, otherwise her neighbors who have to move to the central part of town since they live in an isolated area. Sofia believes she has a good business that generates sufficient income.

With this loan, she will buy soft drinks of all flavors and sizes. In addition, Sofia plans to purchase some sugar, eggs, milk, and powdered soap to sell so that her children can get ahead. She says she feels at ease with her group since they are genuine people who are talented and punctual with their loan payments. Sofia is grateful to Fundacion Realidad and Kiva for giving everyone the opportunity to know her group and supporting them in their continued success.
