A loan helped a member to purchase wood and to continue and improve his business.

Los Luchadores De Mamonaquihua Group's story

The communal bank Los Luchadores de Mamonaquihua is in its fourth loan cycle and is happy to continue strengthening its group, which is made up of 9 members. One of them is Roberto, he is 49 years old, has two children for whom he works hard, both to move them forward and offer them better living conditions.

Twenty years ago he started raising and selling cattle, which has gone very well and that has allowed him to get ahead. His goal is to be able to have a dairy farm. He is always trying to save up enough money to invest in the purchase of livestock in the future.

Now, he is applying for a loan through Kiva to buy wood. He wants to continue investing and improving his business. He considers himself to be an enterprising, hard-working, and responsible man.

In this group: Olinda, Mereli, Angela, Roberto, Merina, Juan Luis, Tony Luis, Maria Delia, Rusbel
