A loan helped a member to buy more sorghum to meet customer demand.

Twuzuzanye Cb Group's story

Greetings from Rwanda! Clementine is Twuzuzanye Cb’s proud representative. The group consists of 23 entrepreneurs who own businesses varying from food production to retail. The group’s name translates into “Let's support each other” in English.

Seen here with a child of hers on her back, Clementine is 36 years old, married and has six children aged between one and twelve years. She sells foodstuffs at the local market and has been doing so for the past ten years.

Clementine has requested this loan to buy more sorghum to meet customer demand. With an increase in income, she can better raise her children and improve her lifestyle. In the future, Clementine wants to see her business growing to a level where she can gain more from it. She thanks you for your support.

Due to the global pandemic Urwego was not able to photograph all this group’s members, but it was able to enlist Clementine to represent them.
