A loan of $550 helped purchase merchandise for her store.

Noemi's story

Noemí is 21 years old, married, and has two children. She resides in a community in the tropical Peruvian jungle where she has her own home. Despite her young age, she decided to open a small grocery store in order to cover her family’s expenses. She currently has a good number of regular customers as a result of the excellent service that she offers. Noemí enjoys her job since she likes getting to know the needs of her customers and always having essential products on hand so that she can offer the best to them. She generally works alone, but occasionally receives help from her husband. Her grocery store is located within her community and she has future plans for expansion. Noemí will introduce new products so that she can attract more customers and generate better revenues.

This is her third loan with MFP. Noemí promises to complete her payments on time and is happy with the good work that her Communal Bank has accomplished. She will use the money she requested to purchase large quantities of merchandise to restock her store so that she can earn more income.
