A loan helped a member to refinance her debt and also to buy ingredients to make cheese bread.

Kuña Guapa Group's story

The Kuña Guapa group from the Santaní zone is very united. The members are working to obtain a better quality of life for their loved ones so that they don't have to miss out on any type of necessity.

One of the members is Sra. Ada who earns her living making and selling cheese bread which is a traditional Paraguayan food eaten at any time of the year. Her simple business has allowed her to provide her family with a dignified life with access to necessities. Because of the Covid-19 pandemic sales have been affected since she was not able to work normally and instead quarantine according to the rules. However, Ana does not stop trying to overcome problems. She is seeking a way to struggle on and once again build up her business in order to help her family.

Ana is asking for this loan to refinance her debt and also to buy ingredients to make cheese bread. She is grateful for the opportunity to continue with the work she has been doing.

Note that only one person appears in the photo although this is a group loan. It wasn't possible to obtain a group photo because of the need to physical distance during the pandemic.
