Mujeres Unidas Group's story

The Mujeres Unidas lending group that was formed by friends and neighbors in the city of San Juan Nepomuceno. They are all seeking to improve their quality of life and that of their families. They are in the fifth cycle of the women's committee.

Alodia works selling food that she makes and sells herself. Thanks to her hard work and sacrifice, she has been able to get ahead with her loved ones and provide them with all of things that she did not have. Her business was impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic since she was unable to work regularly, which affected her income, preventing her from meeting some of her obligations. Despite the daily challenges, she does not give up, she fights to grow and get ahead.

She is seeking a loan to purchase assorted products to continue working as she has been doing. She is grateful for the opportunity she has received to serve her customers and support her family.

There is only one person in the photograph, but this loan is for the entire group. It was not possible to take a group picture because of social distancing practices due to COVID-19.
