Esther's story

Esther is 40 years old and she is married with three children and they live in a community in Honiara, capital of Solomon Islands. She runs a small marketing business selling betel-nuts, leaf, lime and cigarettes at the market to earn a living. She has been in this business for more than ten years. Esther has requested a loan to pay for additional betel-nuts, cigarettes and plastic bags to increase her stocks and assist her in running her business. She plans to use her profits to meet her family's weekly expenses and improve her business.

She joined SPBD in 2015.
