A loan helped a member to buy 20 units of pagne cloth for resale.

Pomme Group's story

Therese is a client of the Hekima MFI and the president of the POMME group. She is the 40-year-old married mother of six school-educated children. Her husband is a public servant.

Therese sells pagnes. She launched this activity in 2007 with start-up capital supplied by her husband. She later joined Hekima to help sustain her business, which has seen gradual growth. This new loan will allow her to buy 20 pagnes. The challenge of her activity is the outstanding debts.

She wants her children to continue their studies, and to be able to feed them.

She wishes to thank Hekima and its partners for supporting non-bankable business owners in this context of global COVID-19 crisis.

Because of the pandemic, only the group leader is featured in the photo.
