A loan helped to stock her business with more timber and furniture which she hopes will bring her more income to expand her business.

Peris's story

Peris is 36 years old, married and blessed with two children under the age of 18 years old. She sells timber and also makes furniture and has been in the business for five years now earning her a monthly income of KES 80,000.

The business has been profitable over the years and sustainable. This is her second loan cycle with VisionFund Kenya and she plans to use the loan to add stock of timber. She is hopeful that this will bring her more income; hence she will use the anticipated profits to improve sanitation and her family's living standards.
