A loan helped to buy fertilizer, herbicide, insecticide, etc. and to pay workers.

Oscar's story

Oscar, 28, makes a living cultivating basic grains, beans, corn, and rice. He also has coffee crops with banana. In addition, he plants vegetables like cabbage, onion, tomato, and sweet peppers in a family orchard to provide his family with food. He is the head of household and his daughter and wife depend on him to cover their basic needs.

His plan for the future is to establish a coffee plot of land since the market generates more income. His goal is to successfully harvest this year's crop and to pay his loan. He is applying for a loan through Fundenuse with Kiva funds to buy fertilizer, herbicide, insecticide, nitrogen fertilizer, and to pay workers to maintain five plots of land with improved NB6 corn.
