A loan of $1,100 helped to acquire a larger inventory of products.

Lino Jose's story

Lino Jose G. L., 29, lives with his wife in Reparto Khun; she is employed as a cashier at Palí supermarket. For the last two years he has been a merchant.

Prior to this, Lino was a bicycle repairman. It was thanks to loans that he was able to buy merchandise to sell to his customers; this created a new source of income. He still doesn’t have the benefit of working out of his own place but he has started to build a new store.

This is the purpose of his loan request. He wants to buy a larger quantity of stock items for bicycle and motorcycle repairs. He will also invest in the purchase of a motorcycle for greater ease in transporting merchandise and to be able to provide in-home services for his customers.

This will make his work easier and he will have better product turnover, which will mean better economic stability for the entire family.
