A loan of $875 helped to buy a thoroughbred cow.

Delfina's story

Delfina, 41, lives in her own house with her husband and three children. For over 17 years she has raised farm animals. She buys them, fattens them up, and then sells them for a price that is higher than what she originally paid. She usually sells bulls because the cows she owns are used for milk production that is sold to a neighbor that makes dairy products like cheese and butter, among others.

Her children help her raise the cattle because she can use all the help she can get because this is a very profitable business. Because of this, she wants to increase the possible number of cows and bulls of good breeds.

This is her 10th loan with MFP and she pledges to be very punctual with her repayments. She feels that this support will be very important for her business’ progress.

She will use the requested funds to buy a thoroughbred cow.
