A loan helped to buy another grill for her takeaway business, and also some more groceries.

Lavili's story

Lavili, a 52-year-old woman, is supported by her husband and three grown-up children in running her takeaway business.

Her husband grows crops, so Lavili does not need to spend money buying crops for her business. Her daughters help their mother cooking and selling the takeaway. Lavili sells her takeaway food from under her own tent along the main road in town. Her main selling day is Saturday, when people visit the town.

Lavili has applied for a loan to buy a new grill for her business, because currently there is only one grill in use but the demand is for more. She does not want to keep the customers waiting. Having two grills will enable Lavili and her daughters cook and serve more food faster.

Help Lavili support her business by funding her loan.

This loan is special because:

It helps proven female entrepreneurs grow their businesses and create jobs.
