05-Fatou Mbint Group's story

Created in June 2017, this group is composed of eight women living in the same town. They are united by strong ties of friendship and solidarity. Their main work of these good and honest women is farming.

Ms. Fatou, the group's representative, is 46, married, and the mother of five children, including two boys. With this new loan, she intends to purchase peanut seeds and fertilizer for her crops.

After the harvest, she is going to resell the produce at good prices in hopes of obtaining better revenues. The earnings will enable her to renovate her hut and to meet family needs.
