05-Fatou Group's story

This group of women was founded in July 2019. They live in the same area and are united by strong bonds of friendship and solidarity. Their primary activity is farming.

Fatou, the group representative, is a borrower who joined the group when it was created. She is 44 years old and very energetic. She is married and the mother of six children, including three boys. She is a farmer.

With this new loan, she plans to purchase peanut seeds and bags of fertilizer from local economic operators to farm their family field. After harvesting, she will resell her produce at the local market for a good price, hoping to improve her income.

The resulting profits will allow her to not only expand her domestic livestock-raising but also to sell ice creams and juices.
