A loan of $1,975 helps to pay to have her land filled for building a new and safe latrine.

Chun's story

Chun, age 38, is a lovely mother of five children. She is a farmer who cultivates rice crops and other agricultural products in Kralanh District, Siem Reap Province. Her husband runs his own construction business and they both work hard to ensure that the essential daily needs of their family are met. Through their hard efforts, they earn approximately 16 USD per day.

Due to insufficient finances, Chun is requesting a loan in the amount of 8,000,000 KHR so that she can pay to have her land filled for building a new and safe latrine. The funds will help with purchasing construction supplies and covering the expense of filling her land to cover the mud, which will provide good living conditions for everyone in her family. The photo shows Chun with one of her lovely children in front of their house.

In the future, she wants to acquire more land for farming and to encourage her children to continue studying through university. Chun sends her thanks to all of the lenders who contribute their capital to help poor people like her.

This loan is special because:

It provides access to clean, renewable energy sources, like solar and biogas.
