A loan of $4,275 helped a member purchase merchandise.

Señor De Mayo Group's story

“Señor de Mayo” (Lord of May) is a group of 13 women who attend their meetings at the Alto Lima Community Center. They have been together for approximately six years. The members gathered to access a loan from which they all could benefit because they needed to improve and expand their businesses.

One of the members is Miriam C., who was invited to join by one of her cousins who was already part of the group. During this time, she has taken advantage of all the services offered by Pro Mujer. Miriam has been selling clothes at different fairs throughout El Alto for four years. She plans to use her loan to buy more merchandise so that she can continue generating revenues and provide the basic necessities for her two children.

The other members have different businesses in the retail, manufacturing, and service sectors. All of them need this loan to improve their businesses.
