A loan helped to buy more bathing and laundry soap to sell.

Isatta's story

Isatta is a 27-year-old entrepreneur who is living with her partner and two children. She attended school up to 12th grade.

She operates a business where she sells laundry soap and bathing soap. Isatta is requesting a Kiva loan to expand her business by buying more soap inventory.

She plans to use the profit she earns to support her household’s basic needs, and also grow her business. The current lockdown brought her business to a standstill since transport means were banned.

Thank you funders.

This loan is special because:

It serves low-income individuals in rural Liberia where few alternative funding sources exist.
