A loan helped to build a household latrine.

Ret's story

Ret is 62 years old, married, and has seven children, two of whom are married. She lives with her family in Bakan district, Pursat province. She has spent most of her lifetime dedicated to agricultural businesses, including farming and raising some poultry. Through these agribusinesses, she has earned her income from which she has been able to support her daily living. Her children serve as her motivation in these businesses.

The family doesn’t have a safe latrine, so Ret is asking for a loan to build a household latrine. A household latrine will enable her to promote good health and improve the family's living conditions. Thanks to the water loan program offered by Hattha Kaksekar Limited at a special rate, Ret has been encouraged to focus on ensuring healthy living conditions to safeguard the health of her family and protect the environment.

This loan is special because:

It provides access to clean, renewable energy sources, like solar and biogas.
