A loan of $900 helped buy tubers wholesale.

Nancy's story

Nancy is 42 years old. She lives in her own house with her husband and her two small children.

For over ten years she has been selling potatoes, lemons, onions, garlic, tomatoes, and other tubers. She gets up very early in the morning to serve her customers. She finishes work at seven at night. Her husband helps her with the work, although at times he gets the children from school and looks after them. That way they can progress and mutually help each other.

Nancy’s priority is to continue working because that is how she is able to support her family. For now her biggest desire is to have a stand inside the market. She currently sells as a street vendor, and that does not guarantee security.

This is her tenth loan with MFP. Once again she promises to be responsible with all of her payments. She considers this loan to be very useful to the progress of her business. She will use the loan to buy tubers and vegetables. That way she will increase her working capital.
