A loan helped to supply her store with a variety of products.

Josefa Mercedes's story

Josefa is 43 years old. She is married and has three children who are adults and two who are minors, ages 17 and 5. Her husband works in fishing. They live in a rented house in Jaramijo, a beautiful place where the inhabitants are very humble and hardworking people who have been very affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.
Josefa is a very responsible and hardworking woman who works everyday with the goal of guaranteeing a better future for her children. This is why she decided to open a small store in her house, where she is able to offer a variety of products such as drinks, food and cleaning products, among other items that allow her to meet the needs of her customers and at the same time increase her earnings.
The pandemic has caused her sales to decrease some but as the situation has gone on her sales have increased a little more.
With this loan she will invest in supplying her store with a variety of products.
Her dream is to continue with her business.
