This group is made up of 5 members who maintain good relationships of solidarity. They live in the same village and were able to seize the opportunity to join the banc villageois when it was created in July 2014. They are active in trade.
Sokhna Fatma (at the right of the photo, raising her hand) is the group representative. She is 49 years old, married and has four children, two of whom are girls. The eldest is 18 years old and the youngest is 2 years old. She has been selling sheets, fabric and clothing for more than 7 years. She buys supplies at the local market and resells in her neighborhood.
With this loan, she wishes to buy fabric, sheets and clothing to resell.
The income generated will be used to manage her household expenses and bulk up her savings at Caurie Microfinance.
