A loan helped to buy more young pigs to raise on his livestock farm and sell back at the local market when they are older.

Julio's story

Julio is 39 years old, married, and a father of five children. He has been involved in business activities since 2015.

He has a livestock business (mainly pigs), which he first started with his own working capital. Raising and selling animals such as cows, goats, and pigs is a very common activity in the zone because it is an easy way to earn money for the family.

Julio has been making a living from it since he first started and it is been really helpful for his family's everyday income as well.

Julio would like a loan of 1,500 USD through KIF to help him improve his livestock business. He will use this loan to buy more young pigs to raise on his livestock farm and sell back at the local market when they are older.

As the result of the investment, he hopes to run a bigger business in the future. He would like to thank all the lenders for this opportunity. It is a second loan and a first loan is already paid.

This loan is special because:

It provides entrepreneurs in underserved communities with the means to grow their businesses.
