A loan helped a member refinance debt and buy meat, condiments, vegetables, and other products.

San Blas Group's story

The San Blas group consists of 15 hardworking and enterprising women in the city of Villarrica who joined together as friends and neighbors to find a way to improve their families' quality of life. The women's committee is currently in their 5th cycle.

One of the members is Zunilda, who runs a business selling food that she makes herself. Through this enterprise, she is able to sustain her household and provide a dignified life for her family without the struggles that she previously experienced. However, due to the COVID19 pandemic, her business and sales have been affected to the extent that it is difficult to fulfill her obligations.

Zunilda is requesting this loan in order to be able to refinance her debt and buy ingredients needed for her business, including meat, condiments, and vegetables.
