A loan of $1,350 helps to buy salt, toilet paper, soaps, flour, shaving items, instant soups, tooth paste, rice, beans, and sugar.

Julio Francisco's story

Julio is the proprietor of a small grocery store and a kiosk. He has persevered in his business for several consecutive years, during which he has faced great challenges and disappointments, however, for the love of his family, he has come out victorious. His shop opens doors to clients from 6:00 in the morning until 6:00 in the evening.

Thanks to the financial support he received previously from these two organizations, he increased his inventory, acquiring new products requested by his clients. Now he wishes to expand his business more, and so again he has "knocked on the doors" of Kiva and MiCrèdito with the hope of obtaining a loan to buy salt, toilet paper, soaps, flour, shaving products, instant soups, tooth paste, rice, beans, and sugar. He continues with the idea of having an eatery in the not-distant future.
