A loan of $1,500 helps to buy detergents, tomatoes, onions, cereals, candy, ketchup, rice, beans, cheese, sugar, and personal hygiene products.

Brenda Isabel's story

5 years ago Brenda opened a small convenience store with her savings. She decided to create her own source of income because of needing money to support her family's expenses. Over time she has confronted great challenges in the commercial sector, but she has been victorious because of her love, optimism, and her desire to continue growing.

At 28 years old, she has knocked on the doors of Kiva and MiCrédito with the confidence of obtaining financing in order to buy detergents, tomatoes, onions, cereals, candy, ketchup, rice, beans, cheese, sugar, and personal hygiene products.

In the near future she is planning to convert her convenience store into a distribution site.
