This group fo 24 women has been affiliated with the "banc villageois" since it was created in September 2018. They all work in small trade and live in the same village. They are united and help one another to ensure everyone's business goes well. Mariama with her hand raised in the photo, is the representative of the group. She is married and mother of five children and has four others in her charge. Retail trade is her main source of income. With this new loan, she intends to buy fish to resell in the neighbouring villages. With her profits, she plans to boost her business by buying other fish.
