A loan of $3,400 helps a member to buy drinks, bread, vegetables, fruit, milk, and other products.

San Pedro Group's story

This group is a part of the "poverty stoplight" program, where all members focus on their goal of overcoming their poverty situation and helping their families to have a better quality of life.

Among them, Genara is worth mentioning. She is a hardworking person who makes a living through the store that she has. She mentions that her work has enabled her to give the best to her loves ones so they do not lack anything. She describes herself as an entrepreneurial person who does not give up despite the daily challenges, and fights to improve every day.

She requested this loan to buy products to stock her store, such as drinks, bread, vegetables, fruit, milk, and other products in order to continue with sales as she has been doing.

Note: Only one person appears in the photo, but this is a group loan. It was not possible to take a group photo while avoiding gatherings due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
