A loan helped bUYING MORE BUTTONS, THREAD, AND ZIPPERS TO SELL.

Suly Elizabeth's story

Suly is 44 years old and lives in an urban zone of Las Orquídeas (named for the abundance of orchids, cement houses, and streets in the process of regeneration) in Guayaquil. She is separated from her husband, and has 3 children who live with her.

Suly had the desperate idea of having her own business, and due to the lack of opportunity, decided to invest all her saving in buttons, zippers and thread, and to rent a locale, since she saw much demand for this type of business. There were many dressmaking shops but no one had these materials to satisfy demand.

Due to her good decision, now she is the principal distributor of sewing articles in her sector. She works alone from 7:30 am until 12:30 every day. Suly sells buttons, zippers, thread, etc.

With this loan she wants to buy buttons, zippers, thread, and cases to display more. In the future, she wants to open other locales to sell sewing supplies.
