Tuyisenge's story

Tuyisenge is an evolving entrepreneur who started a business from scratch but is now among the most successful entrepreneurs in one of Rwanda's refugee camps. He runs a restaurant that has people coming in for lunch every day. He was also able to secure catering contracts with most of the partners within the camp. His restaurant is ranked among the best in the camp where he provides clean and tasty food. He has three refugee employees and plans to hire two more so that he can ensure quality services to his loyal clients.

He wants to grow his business even more by adding more meals to his menu and also hire more educated employees. In this pandemic period, his business was also affected because of the lockdown but now that the lockdown has been lifted in most parts of Rwanda, his clients are starting to come back for lunch as they are also back to work.
